In-Home Services for Seniors

In-Home Services are available to residents of Gogebic  County who are 60 years of age or older. All services are intended to support seniors in maintaining their independence and ensuring they continue to be a vital part of our community.

Before In-Home Services can be provided, an assessment to determine the specific needs of the household must be completed by GOCAA staff (this assessment is a requirement of the Office of Services to the Aging).  Once the assessment is completed, an aide will come to the individual’s home at scheduled times to provide care.

PLEASE NOTE:  In-Home Services are provided on a donation basis. Donations are then filtered back into the program to extend services.
