Job Title: Community Health and Outreach Coordinator
1 position (Bessemer office) for Gogebic & Ontonagon County
Non-Exempt, Employee-at-will.  Up to 24 hours per week/full year Salary to commensurate with education/experience.

The Coordinator is the main access point for community residents who are seeking assistance through Agency programs.  Outreach staff is responsible for the direct programming of Client Advocacy, Emergency Needs, Tax Assistance, the Commodity Program and assisting clients in obtaining access to healthcare services.  Outreach staff is the central intake staff for agency programs and assists clients with the application process to access the various programs within the Agency and with community partners.  Background check, vehicle, and auto insurance required.  Attendance is an essential function of the job.  Minimum qualification of one year background training and/or experience in the field related to human services.  Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to learn client tracking software. Must possess excellent communication skills.

Job Title:  Meal Transport Driver - 1 part-time position in Gogebic County – Bessemer, MI -Non-exempt, Employee-at-will
Tuesday and Thursday 1.5 to 2 hours per day – 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Starting wage $14.48 per hour, plus mileage ($0.725/mile)

Deliver coolers full of meals from the Bessemer Mill Street Garden to the Senior Center in Ewen.  Ability to understand directions and follow through with them with minimal supervision.  Physical ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.  Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license and current proof of insurance.  Attendance is an essential function of the job.  Background check is required.  Education:  High school graduate or equivalent; minimum 18 years of age.

Job Title:  In-Home Worker   ( 2 positions Bessemer, MI)
Non-Exempt.  Employee-at-will. 
Starting wage $14.90/hr. plus $3.40/hr. premium pay, and mileage ($0.725/mile). May work 15-20 hours/week.

Part-time position availablein the senior programs department.  Duties include light housekeeping and personal/respite care services for the elderly.  Ability to understand directions and follow through with them with minimal supervision. Previous experience desired. Scheduling is very flexible.  No weekends or evenings.  Background check is required. Must have a valid driver’s license and have dependable transportation with current proof of insurance. Physical ability to do light to medium work, move light furniture, etc. Education: High school graduate or equivalent (GED or working towards).   Minimum 18 years of age.

Job Title:  SUB Site Manager ( 1 position Ewen, MI)
Non-Exempt, Employee-at-will.  Starting wage $14.08/hr.
Work 3.5 to 4 hours per day, (10:00-1:30)  Tuesday and Thursday

The Site Manager will manage the senior nutrition site, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations and policies.   Must be neat, organized, resourceful and innovative, detail oriented, a team player and capable of independent work. Will directly supervise dining room staff and coordinate with head cook/central kitchen and kitchen staff.  Takes meal reservations, counts donation money and maintain records and submit reports.  Assigns and trains volunteers in food servicing and cleanup.  Supervises home delivered meal driver and home delivered meal route.  Completes assessments for home delivered meal clients; additional time may be needed for completion. Must be willing to learn Federal rules and regulations.  Background check is required. High school graduate or equivalent, 18 years of age minimum.
